At AeroQuest, we are proud to be guided by the visionary leadership of Dr. Amber McCraw, a highly accomplished aviation expert with over two decades of experience in the field. Her career is a testament to her unwavering dedication to innovation, safety, and excellence in aviation.

Dr. McCraw's journey began with distinguished service in the U.S. Air Force as an Air Traffic Controller and ATC Instructor. Her exceptional contributions earned her numerous accolades, including OG Airman of the Year, Professional of the Year, ATC Outstanding Team, and the U.S. Air Force Commendation Medal. These honors reflect her early commitment to excellence and leadership.

Her academic credentials are equally impressive. Dr. McCraw earned a Doctor of Aviation (Av.D.) from the Florida Institute of Technology, graduating with a perfect 4.0 GPA and being named the 2024 Outstanding Student of the Year for the College of Aeronautics. Her research focused on advancing aviation technologies and developing tools to assess ATC complexity. She also holds a Master of Aeronautical Science degree with a specialization in Space from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where she again achieved a 4.0 GPA. These achievements underscore her profound expertise in both airspace and space operations.

Dr. McCraw’s professional journey has been marked by her impactful roles at pivotal organizations. She has made significant contributions to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), working at Headquarters, the Office of Commercial Space Transportation (AST), and the Air Traffic Control System Command Center (ATCSCC). Her work on NextGen programs—including SWIM, ERAM Modernization, ADS-B, SASE, Commercial Space initiatives, and the Federal NOTAM System Modernization—has been instrumental in shaping the future of aviation.
